Freya, An Vanir Goddess As Well As A Supporting Character And An Anti-Villain Of God of War 2018, And Will Return In The Upcoming Sequel, God Of War Ragnarok, Act As A Secondary Antagonist After Her Son's ( Baldur ) Death In A Previous Game From Her Failed Misguidedly Protection For Her Son. She Is The Norse Goddess Of Love, War, Beauty, Fertility, Childbirth And Magic, And The Former Wife Of Odin And The Estranged Mother Of Baldur. While Not Evil, She Had Committed Morally Dubious Act By Casting Immortality Spell On Her Son Baldur So He Cannot Die. Freya Is Unable To Fight Because Odin Took Away Her Warrior Spirit And Her Valkyrie Wings.

During The Main Events Of God Of War She Aids Kratos & Atreus In Their Quest To Reach Jötunheim, Teaching Them About The Nine Realms And Helping Atreus With His Illness During Their Journey And Even Helps Kratos Come To Terms With His Muderous past. She Also Develops A Maternal Bond With The Atreus And Becomes One Of The Only Living Beings Kratos Genuinely Cares For. But The Alliance Is Broken When Kratos Kills Baldur To Protect Her From His Retribution, Only For Freya ( Still Loving Baldur Despite His Attempt To Kill Her ) To Swear Vengeance Upon Him. She Also Despises Mimir, Kratos And Atreus' Companion, For Indirectly Causing Her Imprisonment In Midgard. It Is Also Revealed By The End Of God Of War 2018, That Freya Was Starting To Look For Her Warrior Spirit And Valkyrie Wings Again.

As We Saw In The Trailer Freya Is Attacking On Kratos & Atreus, As She Wants To Take Revenge For The Death Of Her Son Baldur Perhaps So She Can Take Revenge On Kratos For Killing Her Son.
